Mark Efinger- Founder-A History of Inspiration

Mark Efinger, the Founder of the Interview Skill Coaching Academy (ISCA), began his journey in the US Army, where he was trained in conducting interviews. He further honed his skills at Pfizer, Middlebury College, and Phillips Academy, where he conducted admissions interviews and taught public speaking and theatre for 20 years. Mark discovered that interview structures were consistent across different fields. He taught his students to recognize and use this structure to highlight their strengths during interviews. His methods significantly improved students' interview experiences, leading to annual lectures for the junior class at Andover.

After leaving Andover, Mark continued his coaching online, founding ISCA. Over 25 years, he has trained thousands of students and professionals, helping them succeed in school, college, and job interviews. His clients often report increased confidence and career success. Upon retiring, Mark entrusted ISCA to his long-time friend David Waddell, who possesses the skills and experience to continue the Academy's mission. Mark expresses gratitude to all his clients and supporters, especially David, for their contributions to ISCA's success.

David's extensive expertise is derived from over thirty years of interviewing, interview coaching, mentoring, and skill evaluation in Top 500 Corporations and Non Profit organizations. He believes that the method and program used to improve the clients interview skills is the pathway to unlimited opportunities. David has made significant contributions to the Interview Skill Coaching Academy since taking over from Mark Efinger. Mark retired from a very successful career and choose David to succeed because of his extensive experience in both academic and professional interview processes. David has brought a wealth of knowledge and interpersonal skills to the Academy. He has continued to uphold the high standards set by Mark, ensuring that clients receive top-notch training and support. His ability to engage and connect with people and mentor them through their interview preparation has been instrumental in maintaining the Academy's reputation for excellence. His efforts have helped many individuals improve their interview skills, gain confidence, and achieve their career and educational goals.
